Khadija moved to Quebec several years ago. Nostalgic about her home country’s flavours, Morocco, she struggles to find an excellent ready-to-eat couscous dish on the food shelves of Quebec supermarkets. She thus came up with the idea of founding Cousmos, a company that produces couscous recipes with Moroccan-Quebec flavours.
She puts her talents and, above all, her culture into it. Khadija already knew all the cooking basics since she was six years old. Khadija’s mother taught her everything from preparing bread to making couscous, from selecting ingredients to the souk. Today, cooking is for her a way to create bonds and reveal a part of her personality.
His work and efforts in his agri-food entrepreneurial project, which took ten years to take shape, have been awarded several times.
